Bio – Contact

Crecí y vivo en Ecuador. Estudié fotografía en Quito. Y he tomado algunos talleres en Arte Actual Flacso, y talleres en línea con Santa Talleres y Subplataforma.

Produzco imágenes sensoriales a través de mi trabajo sobre justicia social, derechos humanos, defensa del medio ambiente, salud mental y derechos de la mujer.

He expuesto mi trabajo en diferentes países como Ecuador, México, Bélgica, Estados Unidos, Italia, Holanda, China y Panamá.

Fui una de las seleccionados en la exposición y fotolibro ICP concerned 2020 del Centro Internacional de Fotografía de Nueva York entre más de 100.000 participantes. Además fui una de las 16 finalistas del Premio Brasil 2022/ Arte Emergente con mi proyecto Un Viaje al Interior. Obtuve la mención de honor del premio Photo IILA 2023 con mi trabajo “LA FLORESTA” que gira en torno a la gentrificación, y finalmente obtuve la mención de honor del Premio Revelación del Premio Nacional de Fotografía de AFE en Ecuador 2024.

Publicaciones: MAD Magazine con “Universos”, 2020 y destacado en Visura, 2022 con la serie “Casa Mágica”.

Y durante el paro nacional en Ecuador en 2022, trabajé con la Agencia Francesa de Prensa (AFP). Mi trabajo fue publicado en Le Monde, BBC, CNN, information.DK, DW , el País, FIDH, Getty images.

Actualemente trabajo de forma independiente en Ecuador.

I grew up and live in Ecuador.

I studied photographic design at the Instituto Metropolitano de Diseño (La Metro) in Quito. And have taken some workshops in Ecuador, and Germany and online workshops in South America with Santa Talleres and Subplataforma.

I produce sensorial images through my work; social justice, human rights, environmental advocacy, mental health, and women’s rights.
I have shown my work in different countries such as Ecuador, Mexico, Belgium, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, China, and Panama.

I am one of the selected in the ICP concerned 2020 exhibition and photo book of the International Center of Photography in New York among more than 100,000 participants.

I also was one of the 16 finalists of the Brazil Award (Brazil Grant), 2022/ Emerging Art with her project An inward journey . I got the honorable mention of the Photo IILA (Italo Latino) 2023 prize with my work “LA FLORESTA” which is around gentrification and has an exhibition at the Tratesvere Museum of Roma from October to November 2023, and finally, I got the Premio Revelación from National Award of Photography from AFE in Ecuador 2024.
